Pumpkin Pie Bruleed Steel Cut Oats and a Sunny Beachside Morning

Finally.  I had my new kitchen torch just in time for our Thanksgiving holiday getaway trip on our Airstream.  I could hardly wait to use it!

I have always been curious how a hot bowl of steel cut oats would taste with a hard-candied shell on top.  Can I just say?  It was amazing!
